We are currently using Zoom video conferencing for our network seminars. We encourage people to attend seminars from New Zealand universities’ videoconference rooms (listed below) but you may also participate from your desktop. Members of the public are welcome. You can join using Zoom from anywhere in the world.
To register for a seminar you can use the Register Now button at the end of each calendar event or email Seminar Coordinator Melanie Milicich (ensure that all seminar registration emails include the seminar name, date and venue).
eSocSci is delighted to have the support of the eConferencing team at University of Otago. If you require technical support please contact them on [email protected] or call either +64 3 479 5167 / +64 3 479 8440 / +64 3 479 8997 during normal work hours.
eSocSci seminars, excluding post-seminar Q&A and discussions, are often recorded and available to view for registered eSocSci members on the eSocSci.org.nz website. By booking a place at a seminar or turning up to a seminar, attendees are giving implicit consent for the recording and distribution of the seminar within the esocsci membership. There is always the option to sit off camera if you wish.
